stop chrome browser auto update

close chrome,

open directory C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Update

delete all the files in this folder,then create a txtfile with show file extension feature enabled first. change filename to GoogleUpdate.exe

chrome browser doesn't prompt to save password

if you'd done everything you should do try followings.

close chrome browser

open directory C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default
delete files Login Data and Login Data-journal
